I have only ordered delivery from here. Its pretty ordinary Chinese food, never awful, never amazing. The delivery is free so that's awesome and it usually was delivered with in 45 minutes. Mainly this was a convenient place to get dinner when I didn't want to cook or go out!

I have never gone to the restaurant to eat. My review is regarding delivery only. Over a three year period, I have ordered from China Too about 30 times.If you are looking for gourmet chinese food, this is not it.If you are looking for something to serve to guests you want to impress, this is not it.If you are picky about the food you eat, China Too is not for you.However, if you, like me, find yourself working at home late trying to get material ready for the next day and you're not in the mood for pizza (Dominos has my favorites at the click of a mouse) or anything else that can be delivered, then China Too is just fine.They're pretty quick (despite the 45 min window they give on the phone). They have the advantage of being one of the few Chinese delivery places downtown. And the menu is pretty diverse.

Pricey, long delivery times, and the food was not good. If I'm hungry, I can usually eat anything, but this soggy and strange General Tso's was unbearable. 'Kinda feel ripped off.

I order from this place at least 1x per month for past several years. Food is quality, consistent and promptly delivered. Very friendly.

This is the place you order for delivery only. It is not the best but The food always comes hot and there is no other chinese delivery in town that I would order from

Absolutely the worst chinese food I have ever had. Worse than the stuff in LA. Ordered some takout a few times and it got progressively worse. Greasy and flavorless balls of general tso chicken and pre-frozen veggies in bottle sauces. Fried rice tastes like catering food. I have had chinese in NY and SF good authentic stuff. Even Miami has good food. This is just like wow. Even the sauce packs are nasty. And its kinda pricey to boot? Major FAIL!

I have to say that this is one of my favorite restaurants to visit while in San Diego. I don't know if other people "get it," but this place has pizzaz and attitude along with their good food. The owner Robert is part of the charm and entertainment of this establishment. True, he sometimes yells at people, but never mean. When the sign says, "New York style," they mean it. You go there because you're going to eat, not sit and wonder. The first time we went, Robert greeted us at the door saying, "You come in. You eat. If you no like, you no pay." And after a pause, "Everybody pays!" Hilarious. Every year during Comic Con, we got the same slightly busted big table, which wobbled. It was finally fixed last year, so we didn't know what to complain about. Great food, although we've sometimes had to take our own orders because they got busy. It's true, the owner handed me the order form and told me to wait my own table. Awesome! ...? More ?

Good food but horrible service. I will admit the food is great and great hours for a late night taste for Chinese food. But the service is BAD. overall if u can wait then i guess its good. ...?

The food is good east coast styled Chinese food. I love the fried rice! That's how it should be. Fortune cookies taste a bit off, but hell free delivery and great prices! I recommend to everyone. San Diego needs more delivery. These people even sneak into my building which means I don't gotta do anything.?

This place is mushu good! The man owner is kinda scarey 'cause he yells at everyone, but I think that is why the food is so good! Some people cook with love...this guy just scares his food into leaving his restaurant! Shock treatment hot to go!?

tasteless overcooked food won't fly in most cities, but it will in san diego. Took 80 minutes for delivery. if you have had good chinese food before you will not like china too chinese restaurant.?

I just love when someone reviews a restaurant and then bashes the town they are in, jnolen16 can go back to what ever hell hole they lived in before (see I can do it too) China too has great food, yes it takes awhile to get it but its fresh and hot still Never had a bad order from here, their delivery area is hugh, you pay extra for del outside the downtown area but they will do it?
